WWW MUSICALPOINTERS

Christine Lauterburg was heard in Zurich recently giving a solo performance of Swiss folk music, singing and yodelling, and playing fiddle and accordion with versatility, charm and energy.

We have since received, and played with great pleasure, several of her CDs with colleagues; no English words unfortunately, but very evocative and enjoyable, and displaying wit in the arrangements. A wide variety of instrumental timbres on the one illustrated below; Anton Bruhin on the Jews' Harp had a piquancy that caught my ear!

Well produced CDs, with plenty of pictures of the musicians. Recommended to World Music collectors, and especially to expatriate Swiss!
