WWW MUSICALPOINTERS

Musical Pointers (Editor Peter Grahame Woolf)
is a wide ranging website journal, reviewing live events and recordings from worldwide, especially of "niche musics" likely to be overlooked by the print media, and with a lively Articles section.

See Musical Pointers launch & mission statement (2002)

It embodies the philosophy of SEEN & HEARD, which was previously launched by Dr Woolf, its Editor Emeritus.

Peter Grahame Woolf
is a life-long music enthusiast who had edited S&H until 2001
(all postings archived at http://www.musicweb-international.com/SandH/earlier_reviews.htm)

Musical Pointers also brings together some of Dr Woolf's less ephemeral earlier publications in other websites and paper publications including The Opera Critic, Classical Net, Early Music Review, The Organ and Piano Journal, those including reports of UK and European festivals and competitions, reviews of unusual recordings and composer obituaries in the National Press.

Writers who share our aspirations, including those who enjoy indulging in lateral thinking, are invited to make contact and contribute to Musical Pointers.

DONATIONS There are substantial costs for maintaining an enterprise like Musical Pointers and even small donations will help us to continue as one of the very best mainly "classical" music sites.
