Catherine Mackintosh gives two of Vivaldi's sonatas in as fine style as any baroque violinist can bring to them, and is joined by her equally famous and frequent colleague Elizabeth Wallfisch duetting in the so called "trio sonatas", including a sparkling la Folia, in which Robert Wooley's keyboard accompaniment is varied with chamber organ.

Impeccable recording of mid-80s vintage, recorded under the auspices of the late great Ted Perry.
