A useful, and quite unusual, compilation of cheap re-issues from 1991 & 1997.

The Carmina Quartet always plays well; I enjoyed best the high romanticism of the extended piece of early Webern.

Worth considering, but presentation skimped; no texts or translations of the Notturno (I had the original recording by Fischer-Diekau) - you can find them on Emily Ezust's indispensible website at http://www.recmusic.org/lieder/s/schoeck.html.
