An ambitious and successful concert which made the long journey from SE to NW London worthwhile !

The orchestra seemed to have more free-lance professionals than when I last heard them, and the standard was high in all departments.

Peter Fender is an interesting versatile musician, and one of great stamina too !

The Rebel seems to have been the same (rare) work which I reviewed last year in a smaller scale arrangement?

My only reservation is that the acoustics of this grand church are far from ideal, and they might do better to consider trying again at St Alfege's, Greenwich, which might also attract a larger audience?
